This project grew out of the "Designing Media That Matters" class at the d.school at Stanford University. The team consisted of three people including myself; the other two were my favorite people from the graduate program in education at Stanford (Erika Dauber and Jaki Clark). After weeks of needfinding and learning about digital intimacy, participatory social media, and visual design, BitWisdom launched to encourage personal reflection and anonymous wisdom. We are experimenting with the democratization of wisdom and the life-long learning potential of self-reflection.

We hope you will participate in this high-resolution prototype, so check back often (especially when you have new reflections to share—which we think is all the time—or want to be inspired by the commonality and depth of the human experience), then drop us some feedback using the contact page, we would love to hear from you.
